It is with great pleasure we launch this new communication channel. We look forward to using it for sharing ideas and insights with Members as we continue our work in ‘Managing Risk Together’. Subscribe today and you’ll be notified via email each time a new issue is posted.

The blog will feature the latest MEARIE news with topics ranging from risk management, property/casualty insurance programs, group employee benefits, HR services, our trades & technical and executive & professional training programs, corporate news and more.

Exciting Plans for the New Year

As we approach the end of 2021, (which represents the final year of the current underwriting period) and turn our attention to 2022 and the beginning of a new three-year period, we wish to extend our appreciation to Members for their long-standing support. In 2022, we will celebrate our 35th anniversary of successful operations and we look forward to the year ahead providing us all with opportunities to reconnect as we return to in-person meetings and events.

On that note, please save the dates for the MEARIE Annual General Meeting which returns to the Fairmont Royal York on March 30, 2022. As well, we greatly anticipate our return to the JW Marriott Rosseau in Muskoka as The MEARIE Conference returns from June 15-17, 2022. At both events, we’ll be highlighting our 35th anniversary and hope you will join us to celebrate. More details to come as we share our plans for anniversary festivities early in the new year.

In closing, on behalf of both the MEARIE, MMI Boards and staff, I would like to use the inaugural issue of The MEARIE Blog, to thank you for your engagement and support of your Reciprocal. We look forward to celebrating our shared anniversary – together.

Regards,
